During the English-taught Bachelor’s programme in International Business Communication, you will take a range of courses that introduce you to the three main areas of the programme: Language, Communication and Organisation, Intercultural Communication, and Academic and Research Skills.
Language, Communication and Organisation. The Language, Communication and Organisation part of the programme focuses on communication and language in international organisations. In the first year, you will take courses in Corporate Communication, Organisation and Management, Marketing Communication, Language and Communication, and Information Science.
Intercultural Communication. The Intercultural Communication part of the programme focuses on culture and language. The first year consists of an introductory course to Intercultural Communication, as well as foreign language courses in the language of your choice (English, French, German or Spanish). The Foreign Language component consists of language courses that will increase your knowledge and understanding of the grammar and pronunciation of your chosen language. In addition, you will take practical language proficiency courses that focus on common communication issues faced by international organisations. In the first year, these courses are about Strategic Alliances and International Markets.
Academic and Research Skills. The Academic and Research Skills component covers the methodological part of the programme. You will polish your critical thinking and academic writing skills and learn how to conduct communication studies research by following the first-year courses Academic Skills and Research Methodology.
Kastu feedback about the program after the visit
- At RU students have to really like to do research, to write and to analyze, because most of the assignments are written.
- RU has free writing classes at which students can attend if they struggle with academic writing (most of the students attends them).
- Students mostly can learn Dutch for free and get 50% discount to learn other languages like Spanish, Chinese or other 15 languages.
- Easy to find a job as a student – lots of shops, bars, restaurants. Student who gave me a tour said all his friends found a job in 2-3 months.
- Pažymių išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs mokyklos, būtina prisegti pažymių išrašą su paskutinių trijų metų pažymiais (10, 11 ir 12 klasės pirmo pusmečio). 10 klasės vidurkių skiltis gali būti:
- papildomai įtraukta į KASTU pažymių išrašo formą;
- pateikta mokyklos ruoštame išraše;
- galima pateikti pagrindinio išsilavinimo pažymėjimą ir jo oficialų vertimą.
- Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, anketoje turi prisegti savo Brandos atestatą + Pažymių išrašas su 11kl. vidurkiais.

- Motyvacinis laiškas yra privalomas dokumentas stojant į šio universiteto programas.
- CV - stojant į visas bakalauro programas reikia pateikti savo CV.
IELTS - 6.0 (arba 6.5, priklausomai nuo programos), iš kiekvienos dalies nemažiau 6.0
TOEFL - 80 (arba 90, priklausomai nuo programos), iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau negu 20
TOEFL iBT - 80 (arba 90, priklausomai nuo programos), iš kiekvienos dalies ne mažiau negu 20
- Matematikos turi mokytis A (aukštesniuoju) lygiu, turėti ne mažesnį pažymį kaip 5 ir išlaikyti valstybinį egzaminą

- Visi, kurie dar nėra pabaigę mokyklos ir į šį universitetą stoja besimokydami 12 klasėje, kartu su pažymių išrašu privalo prisegti Statement of Education. Formą rasi ČIA.
- Visi, kurie yra pabaigę mokyklą ir į šį universitetą stoja jau turėdami Brandos atestatą, kartu su juo - turi pateikti ir pažymių išrašą su 11 klasės metiniais vidurkiais. To reikia, nes universitetas nori matyti paskutinių 2 metų pažymius.
