Supply Management
The Master's Programme in Supply Management is unique in Finland, providing expertise on strategic supply and supplier management. The programme corresponds to the growing needs of today's business by educating open-minded, innovative managers in the fields of supply management and purchasing.
Supply management is a cross-functional activity of a firm, requiring a broad understanding of international business. Your studies will integrate strategic management, international business and relationship management in supply networks.
In this programme, you will focus on supply strategies, global challenges of sourcing, and the development of purchasing and supply chains.
Your studies will aggregate theories and concepts of business and technology and present recent applications and methods in the field, thus promoting your problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills. You will gain specialised knowledge about the elements of supply strategies and factors of interaction in supply networks.
The studies include interactive case studies, company assignments, group work, independent exercises, literature studies and lectures. About 95% of the programme's Master's theses are based on real-life business problems and are prepared for companies or public sector organisations.
Double degree
The programme also offers a possibility for double degree studies. The programme's double degree partner is the University of Twente, the Netherlands.
Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.
ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi. ĮSIDĖMĖK, Prie anketos būtinai turi prisegti dokumentą (anglų kalba), patvirtinantį, kad studijuoji ir šiais metais baigsi savo studijas. Dokumentas turi būti patvirtinas universiteto administracijos.
Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.
Pastaba! Stojant į šio universiteto programas yra reikalingas geras bakalauro studijų įvertinimas, vidurkis turėtų būti 7 ir daugiau. Šie reikalavimai yra orientaciniai ir galutinį vertinimą ar turimų pažymių pakanka atliks LUT universiteto priėmimo komisija.

You must complete one of the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Science in Economics and/or Business Administration completed in a University with a minimum of 80 ECTS credits of studies in Business Administration to be included in the degree.
- Bachelor of Business Administration completed in a University of Applied Sciences with a minimum of 80 ECTS credits of studies in Business Administration to be included in the degree.
- Bachelor's Degree in a field other than Business Administration completed in a University with a minimum of 24 ECTS credits of studies completed in Business Administration required. GMAT Exam or GRE General Test with minimum required score/s required.
AND you must have completed
- a minimum of 24 ECTS credits of studies in Supply Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Marketing or International Business.
- Work experience for at least 12 months from some of the following fields: Supply Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management. In your application form, you must indicate the duration of each work experience and include their certificates of employment to the work experience you have listed. The certificates must indicate the duration of the job and that it has been a full-time (100%).
- Applicants that meet educational background requirements are invited to an interview.
You will be able to find specialist and management positions in both the public and private sectors as well as in global and local companies in the fields of supply management, international business, logistics, supply chain management and consulting.
Examples of such positions include global sourcing director, supply manager, category manager and strategic buyer.
