Interested in cultures and countries? Excited about innovation? Our Master programme Innovation in European Business takes you to three cities: Cork (Ireland), Paris (France) and Utrecht (Netherlands) in 15 months – ensuring you have truly European experience. You will develop a valuable skill set, combining knowledge about business and management with advanced analytical skills and applying these as you learn – preparing you for implementing and managing sustainable innovation and a career in innovative business with companies around the continent.

Key elements of the programme

  • International orientation on the full cycle of innovation; study in three countries (classes in culture & language).

  • Perspective of Change.

  • Focus on professional practice.

  • In-company placement in European company.

  • Research techniques and skills.

  • Research project and presentation.

  • Training in management skills and intercultural skills.

  • Guest lecturers and company visits.

  • Study trip to EU offices in Brussels and innovation centres, innovating companies and incubators in the three countries.

  • Optional: French stream:

    • Intensive French courses in Cork and Paris;

    • Some subjects taught in French during Paris terms

  • Small groups of students from various countries and cultures.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Candidates must be able to show proof of English Language Ability based on a TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS score: 

  • IELTS: 6.5 - with no individual section lower than 5.5.

  • TOEFL: 90 - with minimum scores as follows: Listening - 17; Reading - 18; Speaking - 20; Writing - 17.

Svarbūs reikalavimai

The programme is opened on a competitive basis to students having successfully completed a four year curriculum at third level (undergraduate) or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.0, whatever their country of origin, in:

  • a Business-related discipline;
  • a relevant area of the Social Sciences and Humanities;
  • Science/Technology, with a business awareness component as part of the primary degree.

Mature students with significant appropriate experience (in a business-related position, or a relevant area of the Social Sciences and Humanities or in Science/Technology, with a business awareness component) are also eligible.

You can expect to be engaged in some sort of Business Development role, either with the innovation department at a multinational or a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME), or at incubators or innovation centres. Alternatively, you might start your own company as an entrepreneur. Either way, you will find yourself in the competitive and exciting world of (international) business!
