This programme provides an excellent chance to explore environmental and human-made hazards, as well as topics like vulnerability, risk assessment, planning, logistics, disaster response, and crisis management.

You’ll build the skills needed to become a confident and professional emergency planner and responder, capable of managing people and situations in real-world scenarios.

Enhance Your Crisis and Disaster Management Skills

Disaster management overall refers to how we handle the impacts of disasters on people, resources, the economy, or the environment. It involves preparing for, responding to, and learning from the consequences of significant events.

This training is designed for everyone, regardless of their educational background, who wants to enhance their skills in crisis and disaster management. The program provides an opportunity to reflect on the topic through the lens of one’s professional expertise.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą. Studijos kurias baigei turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.

  • Bakalauro diplomas –  prie anketos prisek savo Bakalauro diplomą ir jo priedą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Anglų kalbos žinios bus patikrintos interviu metu.

Svarbūs reikalavimai

You can apply to this master's degree programme if you have completed:

  • a bachelor's degree in a related field.

AND

  • at least two years of work experience in the relevant field after completing the higher education degree.*

*Only work experience obtained after completing the degree used for applying can be considered. Work certificate should be written by the employer and include:  employer's signature and/or stamp and include the following information: the date when the employment has started and ended, contact information for the employer, tasks and work hours in case of part-time employment. If the employment is continuing, a temporary work certificate (including a date when signed) must be provided. If the original work certificate has been written in any other language than Finnish, Swedish or English, you must in addition upload a copy of an authorized translation of the work certificate in one of the before-mentioned languages to your application form.

Kiti reikalavimai
  • Pre-task. Pre-task instructions are published before the application opens. The completed pre-task must be included in the application form.
  • Interview. Applicants who complete the pre-task successfully will recieve an intvitation to the interview, where you will be able to demonstarte your English language skills and motivation.
