Karjeros galimybės

As a society, we have entered an age of digitisation – the fourth industrial revolution, or Industry 4.0. This puts new demands on future engineers. With training central to the development of smart factories, including automation, industry robots and simulation technology, you will be keenly sought after. This one-year programme is taught on campus in Trollhättan and all your studies have a close link to industry.

Why this programme

WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING

University West is Sweden’s leading university when it comes to work-integrated learning (WIL). The university was tasked with the development of WIL by the Swedish government 15+ years ago and continues to lead the field today.

WIL allows you to put your knowledge and skills into practice within real-world contexts, including carrying out practical tasks, conducting lab work and completing projects most often in close cooperation with industry. The coursework offers a focus on applications for industry and is created through collaboration between industry and researchers. Your studies will have an emphasis on problem-based learning for industry.

ACCESS TO PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY CENTRE

As a Robotics and Automation student you will have access to our Production Technology Centre (PTC) during your studies. PTC is one of the largest and newest manufacturing laboratories in Sweden and is home to University West’s research area Production Technology West (PTW).

At PTW we conduct research in flexible industrial automation in conjunction with industry. There are many companies linked to our research environment. As a student, you will have the opportunity not only to be part of cutting-edge research, you will also come into contact with future employers.

Pastaba! Motyvacinis laiškas yra rekomenduojamas dokumentas stojant į šio universiteto programas. Universitetas reikalauja, kad laiške būtų max. 1000 žodžių.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo sertifikatą ir visus kitus reikalingus dokumentus atsiųstum iki balandžio 10d. Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • IELTS - 6.5 (ir ne mažiau 5.5 iš keikvienos dalies).
  • TOEFL - 90 (ir ne mažiau 20 iš rašymo)

Išimtis! Asmenims, turintiems brandos atestatą, kuriame nurodytas anglų kalbos B2 lygis anglų kalbos testo laikyti nereikia.

Svarbūs reikalavimai

You will be considered for admission to the Master in Robotics and Automation if you fulfil the following entry requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering and management. Additionally, the degree must be comprised of a minimum of 5 credits in programming and 15 credits in mathematics.

Upon completing this programme, you will be very sought after on the job market. Our graduates work for example with programming, simulation and deployment of industrial robot and automation systems or as project managers for design and development of new automation solutions.

FURTHER EDUCATION

After graduating from the Master's Programme in Robotics and Automation you will be eligible to continue studying as a PhD student at University West or other universities in Sweden and abroad. University West offers a doctoral degree programme within the field of production technology.
