1½-years of teaching and a 1-year internship and main project
The Chemical and Biotechnical Science programme is for people who would like to work in a practical, research or development laboratory. This AP programme is the international version of the Danish laborant programme (laboratory technology). The two lines have identical content and offer the same job opportunities, but the international line equips you with a global understanding. So, if you want to work in an international company or study abroad, you will get international and linguistic competencies by studying on the international line.
Practical experience and theoretical knowledge from a laboratory
The programme is versatile and offers a varied mix of laboratory work, theory, project work, lectures, study visits and thematic teaching. A part of the chemical and biotechnical technician’s work is done in cooperation with others, but you must also be able to work independently.
Jobs within the food industry, the environment or the pharmaceutical industry
Chemical and biotechnical science technicians are typically working in the food industry, pharmaceutical industry, independent analytical laboratories or universities. The work can include practical laboratory work, quality assurance and research. With your AP degree, you also have the opportunity to continue your studies on the undergraduate or graduate level.

Visų stojančiųjų pažymių išrašuose būtinai turi būti nurodytas anglų kalbos valandų skaičius, kuris turi būti 210 valandų arba daugiau.
Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs/usi mokyklą, prie anketos reikia prisegti ir savo brandos atestatą.

Anglų kalbos valandos - bendras išklausytas anglų kalbos valandų skaičius 10 + 11 + 12 klasėje būtų bent 210 valandų.
IELTS - 6.5
TOEFL - 83
- Oxford Online Placement Test: 85 (iš kiekvienos dalies). Užskaitomas tik Kastu organizuotas testas.
- Matematika. Bendras išklausytas matematikos valandų skaičius turi viršyti 125 valandas.
- Chemija. Bendras išklausytas chemijos valandų skaičius turi viršyti 75 valandas.
- Anglų kalba. Bendras išklausytas anglų kalbos valandų skaičius turi būti 210 valandų. (tokiu atveju, jeigu turite tik Brandos atestatą - būtina pateikti ir pažymių išrašą su 10,11 ir 12 klasės astronominėmis valandomis).

Chemical and Biotechnical Analysts are sought after by the foodstuffs industry, environmental companies, for product quality assurance, by the medical industry, for research at universities and for development projects in private companies.
As a chemical and biotechnical analyst, you will work as a laboratory technician with a variety of tasks. For example within:
- Food industry including breweries, dairies and abattoirs
- Pharmaceutical industry
- Chemical industry
- Textile, paint and plastics industry
- Colour and cosmetics industry
- Biotechnology companies
- Food safety authority or food research laboratories at a university
Bachelor’s degree
