American Studies
BA (Hons) American Studies at the University of Lincoln offers students a distinctive interdisciplinary degree drawing on expertise across the University of Lincoln in American history, literature, film, music, theatre, visual arts, foreign policy and politics.
Students have the opportunity to study topics ranging from the cities of the colonial Americas and the American Revolution to the Broadway musical, Hollywood cinema, the battle for civil rights, the Vietnam War and Chinese-American relations. This course seeks to emphasise the critical examination and interpretation of primary source materials, including novels, films, newspapers, songs, oral histories, protest movements and political documents.
Students may have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and broaden their horizons by taking part in a period of study abroad.
Stojant šį universitetą dėmesys yra kreipiamas į pažymius ir Brandos atestato vidurkį, kuris turi būti ne žemesnis kaip 7 ir 3 valstybiniai egzaminai išlaikyti ne mažiau 70% arba vidurkis ne žemesnis kaip 8 ir 3 valstybiniai egzaminai išlaikyti ne mažiau 75%.

Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

This course aims to equip students with an in-depth and wide-ranging knowledge of key periods, movements and developments within American arts, history and cultures. Previous graduates in the College of Arts have entered a range of careers including roles in teaching, broadcasting, screenwriting, journalism, finance, PR, marketing, law, politics, the charity sector and publishing.
