Specialist Community Public Health (Health Visiting and School Nursing)
To be of service to children who need your intervention and care is one of the biggest impacts you can make in a young person's life.
Our one year Top-Up degree is ideal if you are a qualified nurse or midwife and want to work as a specialist community public health nurse, either as a health visitor or a school nurse. During the year you will develop the knowledge and skills required to deliver a range of services including prevention, early intervention and safe guarding services for children aged 0-19 and their families. These are set within the context of local community and contemporary national policy.
We deliver this Top Up programme in partnership with local community healthcare organisations. It is intended to meet the needs and expectations of the new agenda so you can make a difference to the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. Our programme leads to a nationally recognised qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
We will teach you how to integrate the study of health, policy, research and evidence-based practice.
With 50% theory and 50% practice, our expert lecturers prepare you to meet the demands of delivering a service that meets the contemporary healthcare agenda.

Į Top-up (Tęstinės studijos) gali stoti baigę kolegiją ar universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniuose kursuose ir norintys perstoti. Stojant į Top - up reikia turėti 120-180 ECTS kreditų, todėl stodamas įsitikink, kad jų turi pakankamai. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu. Baigęs tęstinių studijų programą gausi bakalauro diplomą.
ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai.
Aukštosios mokyklos baigimo diplomas - Jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prisegti savo Aukštosios mokyklos baigimo diplomą.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
