Health and Wellbeing in Society

The Health and Wellbeing in Society BSc (Hons) degree is a interprofessional and dynamic social science course. It provides an opportunity for students to understand and analyse contemporary developments in health and social care.

An academically and work-focused approach to understanding contemporary health and social care, students investigate health as a human experience mediated by individual, social, economic, political and institutional factors. Alongside the exploration of a range of health related issues students are also able to develop essential employability skills.
