Nursing (Adult) with NMC Registration
If you are a UK or EU citizen you will be entitled to have your tuition fees paid in full by the NHS.
This innovative programme is available to graduates who have already completed an honours degree in any subject and who wish to undertake study to embark on a career as a nurse.
The skills and abilities that you possess as a graduate will enable you to respond to the challenges of the programme in order to gain an academic award as well as registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in a shorter timescale than usual.
The course aims to produce compassionate, confident and collaborative practice-ready nurses who will:
- negotiate and deliver intelligent care with compassion
- be skilled in working within a range of contexts
- respond effectively in complex and unpredictable situations
- become autonomous, able to manage and lead teams
- recognise opportunities for improvement and be innovative and responsive to changing needs of the population
- able to offer the employer an enhanced capability in leadership, innovation and research such that they can envision, influence and transform nursing practice.
This intensive programme encompasses both generic and field specific content in the three stages within the two years. It follows a modular structure and each stage consists of both theoretical and clinical experience components thus allowing for 50 per cent of programme time in the University and 50 per cent of programme time in clinical practice.
During your clinical experience there will be dedicated time where you will return to University for simulation of practice and integrated assessments. This will allow you to share your clinical experiences with your fellow students.

Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.
ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi.
Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

Graduate Nurses are well placed to secure employment and gain promotion and Bucks New University have an excellent employability record. In a recent survey, after graduating 98 per cent of our students were employed as registered nurses.
Upon successful completion of the course students are awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Adult Nursing, and are eligible to register with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC).
Although many qualified nurses work in hospitals, nurses can also work in a variety of settings including:
- general practice surgeries
- community settings
- outpatient day surgery
- nursing homes
- mental health services
- private healthcare providers
- prison nursing.
