This degree is ideal if you wish to develop and succeed as a professional travel and tourism manager. Tourism is currently one of the world’s fastest growing industries and the course will equip you with a range of transferable skills, which can be used to meet the ever changing demands of this dynamic business. Our degree focuses on employability, and you can take advantage of a paid internship on the sandwich route, which can provide opportunities to work in a supervisory capacity within the travel and tourism sector throughout the world.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Stojant į šį universitetą dėmesys yra kreipiamas į pažymius ir egzaminų rezultatus. Brandos atestato vidurkis turi būti ne žemesnis nei 8.

  • Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai uiversitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • Anglų kalbos vidurkis 9 B2 lygiu.

  • IELTS - 6.0

  • TOEFL – 80

The programme allows for a great deal of flexibility in career choices, leaving students well placed for career opportunities throughout the international marketplace such as working for airlines and airports, managing theme parks and tourist attractions, managing heritage sites, tourist information centre managers, cruise operations, market research management and consultancy, tour operators, tourism development officers or hospitality graduate schemes.

Students form our course have recently secured roles at British Airways headquarters, Merlin Entertainments business development, Disney Cruise line officer, World Travel Holdings graduate programme, Hilton Hotel group sales and marketing, Manchester Airport Group, Alton Towers graduate trainee, Premier Inn Operations manager, New Zealand Tourism Board Officer, Gold Medal Travel Sales and Human resource manager and many more.

A feature of this course is the opportunity to study abroad, with students having the option to take their second year modules at our Cyprus Campus. Additionally, students can take part in our international field visits to destinations such as Cambodia. In addition to this if you choose the  sandwich route you can benefit from a 48-week paid internship with employment and learning opportunities, available throughout the UK, Europe, North America, the Far East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

The course is delivered by a team of internationally renowned academics, who are all research active, publishing in a variety of international journals, trade press and media outlets.
