The Multimedia Design and Communication programme is a 2-year higher education for people who would like to get knowledge and skills within user interface design (UI), user experience design (UX), digital content, programming and business understanding. You will work professionally with the design and development of web solutions and mobile services - and learn about digital media, innovation and idea development.
The programme is project-orientated with a strong focus on group work. The first three semesters contain a mix of exciting subjects, where you’ll work project-orientated with international companies. This is followed by an internship during which you get to test your digital skills in practice. We collaborate with lots of international and internationally focused companies for internships. There are no elective subjects on this programme.
During the programme, you will build a portfolio that showcases not only your creative work within the field of multimedia design, but at the same time will document your global skills, intercultural competencies, knowledge and experience.
Teaching Methods and Study Enviroment
In the degree programme, you will work with planning, management and implementation of multimedia projects. You will learn to apply communication theories, narrative techniques and means of communication and you will acquire practical experience with UX/UI design and programming.
You’ll work with the subjects through dialogue-based teaching, project-orientated group work and individual assignments. We attach great importance to having continuous collaboration with relevant internationally focused companies and organisations who contribute with concrete cases, experience and knowledge.
As a student on the Multimedia Design programme, you are expected to bring your own laptop which is suitable for multimedia production.

Visų stojančiųjų pažymių išrašuose būtinai turi būti nurodytas anglų kalbos valandų skaičius, kuris turi būti 210 valandų arba daugiau.
Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs/usi mokyklą, prie anketos reikia prisegti ir savo brandos atestatą.

Anglų kalbos valandos - bendras išklausytas anglų kalbos valandų skaičius 10 + 11 + 12 klasėje būtų bent 210 valandų.
Oxford Online Placement Test: 85 (iš kiekvienos dalies). Užskaitomas tik Kastu organizuotas testas.

TOEFL - 83
- Brandos atestato vidurkis - bendras brandos atestato vidurkis turi būti ne mažesnis kaip 8.
- Matematika. Bendras išklausytas matematikos valandų skaičius turi viršyti 125 valandas.
- Anglų kalba. Bendras išklausytas anglų kalbos valandų skaičius turi viršyti 210 valandų (tokiu atveju, jeigu turite tik brandos atestatą - būtina pateikti ir pažymių išrašą su 10, 11 ir 12 klasės astronominėmis valandomis).
- Video prezentacija apie savo kūrybinius darbus. Stojantys į Business Academy Aarhus turi pateikti 3 minučių trukmės prezentaciją, pristatant save ir savo kūrybinę veiklą. Stojantiems reikia pateikti PDF failą, kuriame būtų pateikta nuoroda į video prezentaciją bei prezentacijoje pristatomi darbai. Detalesnius video prezentacijos reikalavimus gali rasti universiteto svetainėje ČIA, o instrukciją lietuviškai gali rasti ČIA.
A multimedia designer works with user experiences (UX), user interface design (UI), and frontend development.
You will be qualified to work in companies that focus on the operation, creation and further development of digital communication and design concepts and interactive digital solutions. You will also be qualified for jobs where you plan, design, and implement different types of multimedia productions.
