It is more important than ever for public and private organisations to have employees with the expertise to manage and analyse large sets of data. The next few years are promising more accelerated expansion of data and data collection outlets, leading to more demand for graduates with strong digital analytics skills.

The new BSc (Hons) in Finance and Business Analytics will give you the skills you need for a career in this fast growing sector. It is designed with inputs from leading industry professionals, and strikes a balance between the mechanics of analytical methods and the dynamic finance-related decision-making process. You'll gain technical data science skills along with a deep understanding of the application of analytics within the context of financial management.  

You'll have the opportunity to learn SAS, one of the world’s leading industry standard data analytics software packages. SAS are one of our strategic partners, and are advocates for our students gaining experience with the software. The course will also offer the additional benefit of gaining data analytics training that is non-vendor specific with open-source tools such as R.
