Motorsport is one of the world's most dynamic, competitive industries - and engineers that master their craft have almost unlimited career opportunities.

This MSc in Automotive Motorsport Engineering at Brunel equips graduates with the qualities and transferable skills they need to flourish at a senior level in an exacting industry.

The comprehensive curriculum covers a wide range of specialist skills sought within the industry – including core modules in:

  • Research methods and sustainable engineering
  • Racing team management and vehicle testing
  • Advanced vehicle dynamics, IC engines, materials and manufacturing

You’ll gain practical experience through a team project, and complete a dissertation of your choice, typically covering a design, experimental, computing or analysis subject.

From F1 pit lane mechanics to testing specialists, engine and aerodynamics maestros to team managers and financial controllers, graduates from this course have a host of exciting and varied career options open to them.

The MSc programme at Brunel University helps you develop imagination and creativity to follow a successful engineering career with a mix of modules covering automotive and motorsport engineering topics, which delivers an integrating layer on top of subject specific first degree or professional skills.

Its primary focus is to create Master's degree graduates who are well equipped with the knowledge and skills to work in a multi discipline subject area, typically encountered in the automotive and motorsport engineering industry.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.

  • ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi.

  • Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • Valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 80 % ir daugiau (gali reikalauti ir didesnio balo priklausomai nuo pasirinktos programos anglų kalbos reikalavimų)

  • IELTS - 6.5

  • TOEFL - 90

The course is designed to equip graduates with the skills required by industry. Alongside technical skills, the programme provides students with business and team-working skills vital to the automotive and motorsport sectors. The course’s graduates go on to careers with leading automotive companies as well as motor racing teams (e.g. Jaguar Land Rover, Delphi, Ford) and racing firms such as Mercedes High Performance Engines, Red Bull, Williams and Lotus.
