  • Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

Dėmesio!Konkrečius programos stojimo reikalavimus gali rasti programos aprašyme universiteto tinklapyje. Spausk šiek tiek aukščiau esantį mygtuką Oficiali svetainė, tuomet dešinėje pusėje esančoje meniu juostoje pasirink skiltį Entry requirements ir po Entry Criteria 2017/18 sąrašu esančiame International and EU Entry Requirements pasirink Lithuania. Tuomet pamatysi stojimo reikalavimus.

Pavyzdys.: Jeigu stojimo reikalavimuose parašyta: Average of Grade 9 and 90% in State Examinations in subjects if they are specified in GCE A-level entry requirements. You can find the GCE A-level entry subjects above. If no subjects are specified at GCE A-level then required State exams can be in any subjects.

Employability

Graduates from the MEng degree course have demonstrated themselves to be of the highest calibre of their peer group. Generally, our MEng students have a number of job offers before they graduate, and find themselves in the enviable position of cherry-picking their prospective careers.

The five-year thick-sandwich degree programme enables you to gain high-quality, relevant professional experience which is sought by employers. You have the opportunity to change from the full-time mode of study to the thick-sandwich course up to the end of Level 2.

Careers

Aerospace Engineering graduates take up employment in fields such as aircraft and components design and manufacture, maintenance and testing, propulsion systems, flight simulation, aviation, avionics, patent engineering, financial services, and many more.

Recent graduates have gone on to work for:

  • Rolls-Royce Aero Engines
  • British Airways
  • Airbus
  • GE Energy
  • Thales
  • Marshall Aerospace
  • BAE Systems
  • Qinetiq Group
  • Lockheed Martin
  • the Ministry of Defence.

Research

Some of our graduates go directly into research, leading to the award of a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD), whilst others spend several years in industry first before studying for either a PhD or EngD (Engineering Doctorate). Opportunities for research are open to excellent graduates from the Aerospace Engineering course.

Work Placements

You can choose to study either a full-time course or the prestigious sandwich course. Sandwich students undertake high-quality, paid work placements within prominent companies and organisations. The placement in industry is usually taken between Levels 2 and 3 for at least 44 weeks. This time can count towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.

Brunel’s award-winning Professional Development Centre will support you to get the best placement to suit your aspirations. They can help you with advice to compose the best possible applications, and coach you with mock interviews – often with the support of industry visitors.

The organisations that employ the students on placement are checked to ensure they can provide suitable training experiences. Quite often, Brunel graduates within firms mentor current students. The placement is assessed, and students must pass it to graduate with the words 'with Professional Development' in their degree title. Each student is allocated both a mentor within the company and an Industrial Tutor from Brunel, who is on hand to help ensure that the placement yields the best possible experience for the student’s personal professional development.

At Brunel we provide many opportunities and experiences within your degree programme and beyond – work-based learning, professional support services, volunteering, mentoring, sports, arts, clubs, societies, and much, much more – and we encourage you to make the most of them, so that you can make the most of yourself.
