Accounting and Financial Management Studies

Accounting and Financial Management Studies is available for non-native English speakers in order to give you the chance to develop key language skills, such as English for Business and Management or Professional Writing, alongside high-level honours-standard study in your chosen subject area.

Learn through live simulations with professional accountancy bodies such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Association of International Accountants (AIA). Working with live financial data and real-world case studies, you'll pitch ideas to successful businesses like Pulsin'.

Experts from leading organisations such as Hazlewoods, Metro Bank PLC, the Financial Times and Superdry provide insights in lectures. You'll also have the opportunity to work on a financial project and enter the competitive CIMA Global Business Challenge. This recognises talented undergraduates around the world.

Gain experience of international financial activity when you visit Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. There is the opportunity to do an exciting placement year, too. Current placement students are working for global organisations such as 'Big Four' firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Graduate as a part-qualified accountant with an in-depth understanding of accounting and finance across global and UK-based business.
