This programme provides flexibility and a range of module choices to practitioners and relevant organisations in the telecom, consultancy and software/system engineering sectors, which enables them to tailor their training/education needs.

Cyber Technology MSc consists of four main themes; Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, and Management. It can be studied by combining modules from all four themes allowing you to specialise in your chosen area of interest. You have the opportunity to choose mixed pathways, for example the choices of modules could lead to a degree in Cyber Security with Management. This programme is developed in conjunction with our Industrial Advisory Group which includes: Deloitte UK, Airbus, BT, and Rolls-Royce.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.

  • ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi.

  • Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • Anglų kalbos vidurkis 8 B2 lygiu + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikyti 80 % ir daugiau (jei IELTS 6.5) arba anglų kalbos vidurkis 10 B2 lygiu + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikyti 95 % ir daugiau (jei IELTS 7.0)

  • De Montfort University online testas (jei nori laikyti šį testą kreipkis į Kastu koordinatorius).

  • IELTS - 6.5 arba 7.0

  • TOEFL – 90 arba 100

Graduates are prepared for positions in consultancies, software houses or project management. They are also likely to be employed as cyber security specialists within law enforcement, government or other related agencies, in commercial IT departments or security consultancies, or in other computing positions where cyber security is an issue. Graduates can also undertake further study towards a doctoral or PhD degree.
