Diagnostic radiographers play a crucial role in healthcare by providing a high quality imaging service to diagnose injury or disease. You will gain the knowledge and skills you need to work in hospitals and clinics, in research, or in education.

We aim to ensure you become a safe, competent, confident and autonomous practitioner, with a particular emphasis on developing your skills in patient care, image interpretation and preliminary clinical evaluation. An integral part of the course is the development of sound skills in evidence-based practice and research that encourage and enable you to evaluate and improve professional practice for the benefit of service users.

You will explore areas including:

  • human anatomy, pathology and physiology
  • radiographic science and radiation protection
  • radiographic practice and image interpretation
  • patient care
  • evidence-based practice.
Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Stojant į šį universitetą dėmesys yra kreipiamas į pažymius ir egzaminų rezultatus. Brandos atestato vidurkis turi būti ne žemesnis nei 8 ir 2 valstybiniai egzaminai išlaikyti ne mažiau nei 70%.

  • Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai uiversitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

  • Anglų kalbos egzamino rezultatas ne mažesnis nei 75%.

  • IELTS - 6.0

  • TOEFL – 80

Upon successful completion of our BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography degree, you will be eligible to apply for registration with Health and Care Professions Council as a diagnostic radiographer.

For your career development, after qualifying, there are a number different options that include taking your passion for diagnostic radiography forward, for example, our postgraduate radiography course provides a number of pathways, including Clinical Reporting, ultrasound imaging, MRI, CT and nuclear medicine for qualified practitioners from a range of backgrounds to enhance their skills. Later you may choose to develop your career in leadership and management, in research, teaching or industry or as a practitioner in a private setting.
