Karjeros galimybės

This distinctive MEng programme lets you home in on your preferred specialism – with renewable energy systems, CO2 utilisation and bio-fuels among your options.

  • Our strong links with Green Port Hull, the heart of the region's renewable energy industry, enable you to embark on a rewarding year-long placement.
  • Our degrees are accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and provide the mandatory four years of study required for accreditation as a Chartered Engineer.
  • Some of your training takes place at the £8-million Centre for Assessment of Technical Competency Humber (CATCH), a full-scale plant facility.
  • You'll study near more than 350 engineering and process companies – including Phillips66, Total, Novartis, BP Chemicals, Croda, Cristal, Smith & Nephew and RB (formerly Reckitt Benckiser) – based around the Humber, Britain's 'energy estuary'.
  • We're joint second in the UK for graduate prospects, with 90% of graduates in professional jobs or graduate-level positions within six months (The Times and the Sunday Times University Guide 2018).

Chemical engineering's the second highest-paid profession for new graduates (after dentistry), according to the Complete University Guide (2017). Our programmes have strong industrial links – with professional engineers contributing to our teaching, and industry sponsoring our flagship final-year design project.
