Sociology and Criminology
This course allows you to study aspects of sociology and criminology with an equal emphasis on both disciplines. We often require you to develop new ways of thinking about issues we normally take for granted. This subject combination is a demanding, highly rewarding and exciting choice.
Sociology is the systematic study and analysis of social relationships. Your study benefits from our staff research strengths in areas such as gender and sexuality, health and wellbeing, the body, nationalism and identity. Criminology is concerned with the study of crime, disorder and crime reduction. Our research expertise in areas such as investigative psychology and environmental criminology informs the course content.
The work placement is highly recommended as it gives you great practical insight into your employment choices.
By studying sociology you’re eligible for student membership of the British Sociological Association.

Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).
