Criminology
Criminology is an expanding and exciting area of study which is not only concerned with why people commit crime, but also what crime is, how we should respond to crime and why some people in society are more likely to commit crime or become a victim of crime. This course takes a topical and contemporary approach to the subject. We encourage you to consider what we do with people who have committed crime and question why we punish people and in what way.
The course draws on our research expertise in areas including investigative psychology and environmental criminology. You'll be encouraged to specialise in areas such as criminal profiling and masculinity and crime, as well as study the key ideas and debates. You'll also assess crime reduction including the activities of the police, Crown Prosecution Service, courts and prisons. This course will open doors for you, allowing you to consider fascinating careers where you can make a real difference.

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).

Our graduates embark on a range of careers including personnel, central and local government, the civil service, public service and the mass media. This course should assist in obtaining places and/or further training in the growing and increasingly professionalised justice sector including the police, probation, community safety, prisons and voluntary and private sectors. Opportunities could range from dealing directly with offenders to working with individual victims or in community safety.
