Podiatry
Podiatrists are specialists responsible for the care of the lower limb and foot. Expected to manage podiatric conditions from birth to old age, you'll be trained to recognise and diagnose systemic and local conditions affecting the foot and leg. Podiatrists work as part of the health care team, in hospitals, health centres, private practice or the commercial sector.
Specialist areas in podiatry include surgery, podopaediatrics, sports injuries of the lower limb, biomechanics and gait assessment, orthotics, and podiatric care in diabetes, rheumatology and vascular disease.
There has been a Chiropody/Podiatry School in Huddersfield since 1978. We have developed our courses in collaboration with service managers, work placement providers and patient representatives.
The majority of your practice time is undertaken within the podiatry clinic and surgery suite on campus but you'll also complete some external placements.

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).

As a registered practitioner, you can work in settings including the NHS, private practice, the leisure industry, education, medical sales and research. Employment prospects for our graduates are excellent. Between 95-100% of our qualifying podiatrists secure employment within three months of graduating.
