Medical Biology
Modern biology, particularly the study of cellular biology and molecular genetics, has made a dramatic impact on medical research and the development of new ways of diagnosing and treating disease. This course provides you with an opportunity to explore these challenging areas of science, preparing you for a career in medical research, the pharmaceutical industry and many other areas of healthcare.
As you move through the course you’ll study advanced topics such as molecular genetics, immunology and cancer. We work closely with pharmaceutical companies and world-famous research laboratories to ensure that the course is at the cutting-edge of the subject. The optional year-long work placement is highly recommended and gives you great practical insight into the career choices available to a medical biologist. Many of our graduates are offered permanent posts by their placement hosts.

Brandos atestatas – jei jau esi baigęs mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie Kastu stojimo anketos prisegti savo Brandos atestatą.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).

The recent advances in biology have led to a growing demand for graduates with expertise in medical biology and experience in relevant laboratory techniques. Medical biology graduates find employment in a wide variety of careers in the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals and the healthcare sectors as well as medical research. Many graduates with good Honours degrees go on to study for higher degrees.
