Psychology
Psychology is a broad and diverse discipline, which seeks to provide understandings of human action, behaviour and experience. The distinctive feature of the psychology course at Huddersfield is its applied nature. We encourage you to consider how to apply psychological theories to real-world issues, and to evaluate their implications.
Topics range from neurological explanations of epilepsy and dyslexia, to accounts of why prejudice exists in our society and how to counter it. The course provides a sound basis for professional training in psychology as well as enabling you to develop interests in related areas.
Our staff are actively researching in the field and as such our teaching is informed by this cutting edge research. You’ll also have the opportunity to undertake psychological research using state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).

Our graduates have embarked upon careers in a variety of fields such as personnel, teaching, law and general management. A good degree in Psychology will also enable you to complete further study in many other psychological or social science areas. Some graduates continue onto postgraduate training courses in order to qualify for careers as professional psychologists, for example within the National Health Service, education service or prison service.
