Psychology with Criminology
This course is of special interest if you want to pursue a career in forensic psychology within the criminal justice system, or are interested in psychology and crime. Psychology (two thirds of the award) is a broad and diverse discipline, which seeks to provide understandings of human action, behaviour and experience.
We encourage you to consider how to apply psychological theories to real-world issues, and to evaluate their implications. Topics include theories of personality, abnormal psychology, memory and perception, and personality and crime.
Criminology (one third of the award) is concerned with the systematic study of crime and crime reduction. You'll examine popular conceptions of crime in the media and explanations of criminal action ranging from petty theft to state sponsored terrorism. We also cover the critical consideration of crime reduction including the activities of the police, Crown Prosecution Service, courts, prisons and community safety or crime prevention.

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).

Our graduates are prepared for a variety of fields including the police, personnel, teaching, government, the civil service, public service, policy analysis and the mass media. Graduates will also be able to pursue careers as professional psychologists after appropriate postgraduate training.
The justice sector provides an expanding range of opportunities, in public, private and voluntary agencies, including research and data analysis, working with offenders or victims and community safety.
