Contemporary Art and Illustration
The course acts as a laboratory for unrestricted creativity within a lively studio environment, with a focus on the role of the visual in contemporary society. Students can work across a wide range of media including: painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, moving-image, digital processes and photography.
The first year is concerned with experimentation, in concepts and materials, forming a basis from which students go on to develop to their own individual strengths. Teaching staff have a wealth of experience in fine art and illustration, and renowned guest speakers form part of our contextual studies programme. The course presents options for development both as artists and/or as illustrators with opportunities for external live projects both nationally and internationally.

Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Anglų kalba B2 lygis + valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas išlaikytas 75% ir daugiau.
Kastu anglų kalbos testas (jei turi gerą įvertinimą iš IELTS/TOEFL, tau nereikia laikyti Kastu anglų kalbos testo).

Graduates have gone on to work in the areas of freelance design, children's book illustration and the greeting card industry. Recent graduates have undertaken work for Urban Outfitters, Google, Action Aid, Barclays Bank, Sunday Telegraph, Sony PSP, The Big Chill, Converse and others. Within the field of Contemporary Art students have worked as artists exhibiting in New Sensations, Newspeak (Saatchi Gallery0, Northern Graduates Prize, New Contemporaries, Castlefield Gallery Manchester and Alison Jacques, London and others. Students have also taken up work in curating, community arts/art therapy, design and teaching.
