LLM in Bar Professional Training
This course combines an internationally recognised Masters qualification (LLM) with the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) which is a mandatory course for those who wish to become a barrister in England and Wales.
Compared to our stand-alone BPTC, you will also complete a Masters project that will develop your research expertise, expand your legal knowledge and demonstrate a high level of critical analysis. In an increasingly competitive market, an LLM will differentiate your qualification and enhance your future employability.

Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.
ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi.
Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.
Svarbu, jog anglų kalbos testo rezultatai universitetą pasiektų iki Liepos 31d.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
Brandos atestatas - anglų kalbos vidurkis 8 B2 lygiu arba valstybinis anglų kalbos egzaminas 75% ir daugiau. Atkreipk dėmesį, kad kai kurioms programoms gali reikėti anglų kalbos vidurkio 9 B2 lygiu arba anglų egzamino rezultato 80% ir daugiau.

Once you have successfully completed the course you will have the skills needed to start a pupillage. This will be the next and final stage of your training to become a barrister. At Northumbria, we aim to ensure that you are prepared in every way for pupillage and life as a barrister.
The Bar is recognised to be a demanding profession and there is extremely intense competition for pupillages. At the same time, it offers the potential of very worthwhile careers with significant rewards both in terms of job satisfaction and financial remuneration.
