Service, Hospitality and Tourism Management

The AP Degree programme in Service, Hospitality and Tourism Management is directed towards the service and leisure industry. The industry is one of the biggest in Denmark and it is under constant development. With this programme you will be skilled within the field of service design and within the development of the leisure industry which makes you capable of managing several types of service jobs both in Denmark and abroad. The jobs opportunites include, among others, positions in hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, airlines, event agencies, sport companies, tourist organisations, retail, museums and non-profit organisations.

When you have an AP Degree in Service, Hospitality and Tourism Management, you will be trained in development, planning, implementing and delivering services nationally and internationally in companies which engage with people, leisure, events, tourism, hotel, sport and retail.

During your programme, you will get the understanding for what creates a good service company and service culture within a company. You will work with evaluating and adjusting practice-oriented issues which are related to the operations of a service company.

The teaching will focus on having a practice-oriented approach as well as developing competences within the industry.

You will work across different departments and levels – among others Service and Experiences, Cooperation and Relations, Business Understanding and Business Development. Depending on your interests, you will have the opportunity of choosing between several electives which are selected based on trends and demands from the industry. Furthermore, as part of your programme, you will have a mandatory internship lasting 3 months.
