Global Management and Manufacturing (GMM) Study Programme

The GMM study programme is an engineering education which combines management, economics and cultural understanding with knowledge of production and sourcing.

The Mentor Solution

What is unique about the study programme is the fact that you as a student will be associated with a mentor company, which you will work closely with from the 3rd to the 7th semester. This means that you will solve tasks in relation to your studies and you will try out theories, models, concepts, etc. compared to real practical problems in your mentor company. In this way you will get plenty of opportunities to confront theory with praxis during your studies.

Ready, set, go global

The global perspective is an essential part of the study programme, which focuses on new forms of production. The study programme is only taught in English and it is therefore directed towards both Danish and foreign students. Speaking English from the first day of your study is part of making the study programme global.

Close Cooperation with the Industry

Global companies are in focus during the study period, including Danish global companies such as Bang & Olufsen, Grundfos, Lego, etc.

The GMM students will obtain essential knowledge of cultural understanding both through theory but also through working and socializing with the different nationalities studying the GMM programme.

Close Interaction with Teachers

The informal environment with close interaction between students and the teaching staff as well as group instruction as opposed to lectures ensures that students can always get answers to any questions they may have. In addition, follow-up by the GMM teachers on internship as well as the students' personal development will take place during the course of study.

SVARBU! Brandos atestato pateikimas stojant į šį universitetą privalomas iki liepos 5d. Dvyliktokams gauti brandos atestatą laiku yra beveik neįmanoma, todėl rekomenduojame stoti tik tiem, kurie jau yra pabaigę mokyklą ir turi brandos atestatą.

Pažymių išrašas - jeigu esi 12-oje klasėje ir žinai, kad galėsi pateikti brandos atestatą iki liepos 5d. tada gali stoti. Šiuo atveju prie anketos reikės pateikti pažymių išrašą.

Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:

IELTS – 6.5
TOEFL - 83. Aarhus universiteto TOEFL kodas yra 8935.

Svarbūs reikalavimai

Matematika. Bendras išklausytas matematikos pamokų skaičius turi viršyti 250 valandų.
Fizika. Bendras išklausytų valandų skaičius turi būti 200 arba daugiau.

A degree in GMM gives you an understanding of production and manufacturing in a global perspective. You learn how to increase production efficiency and make decisions on what to manufacture and what to source from the supplier network.

Many GMM graduates work in production management or similar functions supporting the relationship between product development and production. You can also work as a quality engineer, as a purchaser, or as a technical specialist.
