What is imagineering?

Imagineering (from "imagination" and "engineering") is the strategic implementation of experience design that adds creative and transformative capacity into businesses and other organisations.

In this 1-year MBA programme, you learn to innovate from a people-oriented approach. You also learn how to appeal to the imagination and how to make people co-designers of their own story, company or organization. Innovating and changing by strengthening collective creativity, that is the core of this Master Imagineering in Breda.

The world is in need of new, complementary approaches and methods as society is growing ever more complex. We see the depletion of natural resources running alongside the vast growth of connectivity, creativity and innovation. As Imagineering stems from and is embedded in the complexity paradigm of open systems, nonlinearity and dynamics of growth, in its core it goes beyond just design, innovation, business modelling or change management.

Reikalaujamas išsilavinimas

Į magistro studijų programas gali stoti visi, baigę universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniame kurse. Studijos kurias baigei ar tebesimokai turi būti panašios krypties kaip ir tos, į kurias nori stoti, kadangi priėmimas yra paremtas ECTS kreditų suderinamumu.

  • ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai. Kai siunti anketą paskutiniame kurse, diplomą reikia prisegti vėliau, kai tik jį gausi.
  • Bakalauro diplomas – jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją mokyklą, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prie anketos prisegti savo Bakalauro diplomą.
Anglų kalbos reikalavimai

Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų (kokio balo reikalauja tavo pasirinkta programa rasi prie programos stojimo reikalavimų):

  • IELTS - 6.0
  • TOEFL - 80

This master’s programme is aimed at students with a bachelor’s degree, preferable a Bachelor in Business Administration, in a relevant field of study, e.g. tourism management, leisure management, sports management, culture management, business management or economics.

Personal experience, qualities and motivation

Apart from educational background and language skills, criteria for admission are also personal qualities and motivation. Work experience in any field is preferred, though a study-related work experience (e.g. work placement) may be accepted as an alternative. Depending on your test results, work experience and the field of study of your first degree, an additional course may be required for admittance to the programme. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an intake interview.

Graduates of the Master Imagineering generally find employment in innovation related positions, marketing and branding roles or as a business consultant.
