A Saxion Industrial Engineer is a business administrator who is specialised in finding sustainable solutions for quality- and productivity related problems in the production industry. These problems will be researched with a design based methodology, in multidisciplinary teams, after which solutions and interventions will be implemented.

In creating sustainable solutions new technologies and innovations are considered, and the way in which the solution can be successfully implemented in existing organisations.

Identification, selection, acquisition, exploitation and protection of technology in relation to strategy development, innovation and production are at the core of solving this question.
Į Top-up (Tęstines studijas) gali stoti baigę kolegiją ar universitetą arba besimokantys paskutiniuose kursuose ir norintys perstoti. Stojant į Top-up reikia turėti 120-180 ECTS kreditų, todėl stodamas įsitikink, kad jų turi pakankamai. - Brandos atestatas
- ECTS kreditų išrašas - jei dar nesi baigęs aukštosios mokyklos, būtina prisegti ECTS kreditų išrašą, kuriame būtų matyti, kokius dalykus Tu mokeisi bei kokius pažymius ir kiek kreditų už juos gavai.
- Aukštosios mokyklos baigimo diplomas - Jei jau esi baigęs aukštąją, išrašo nereikia, užtenka prisegti savo Aukštosios mokyklos baigimo diplomą.
Anglų kalbos žinias gali patvirtinti vienu iš šių būdų:
- turėti anglų kalbos pažymį Brandos atestate ir išlaikyti Anglų kalbos valstybinį egzaminą (egzamino rezultatas nėra svarbus, svarbiausia, kad jį išlaikytum);
- išlaikyti IELTS arba TOEFL testą;
- a minimum of three years of foreign higher education (leading to a bachelor’s degree) in Engineering or a closely related field is required.
In addition to the genery requirements, international students looking to enrol in the Short Degree Programme Industrial Engineering & Management will need a steady knowledge base matching that of students enrolled in the Dutch four year fulltime Industrial Engineering & Management programme. This means that you will need to show sufficient knowledge and skills in the following Industrial Engineering & Management disciplines:
- (Business2Business) Marketing;
- Organisation and Management;
- Finance and Accounting;
- Production methods;
- Research Methodology;
- Logistics/operations management.
Furthermore, applicants need to have at least 6 months of relevant experience in industry (e.g. assignments, projects, internships).
During the enrolment process, you can be asked to make a assignment at home. The results from this assignment are taken into account in the application process. A digital interview can be part of the enrolment process as well. If this is the case, you will be informed during the enrolment process.
Graduated Industrial Engineers are specialised in finding sustainable solutions for quality- and productivity related problems in discreet systems in the production industry. This makes them especially suitable for managerial positions in technical production environments. Because of their skills in spotting technological innovations and trends, Industrial Engineers are often found in international business both within the Netherlands as well as abroad.
